A lot of things have changed in the Multiverse since the antimatter hit it, and tonight, we're going to be looking at just WHAT happened when it did, and right afterwards.

If you're unfamiliar with the word, hello and welcome to tonight's blog post, in which we try to summarise some of our thoughts over the Crisis in general, come to terms with facts about certain shows, hopefully save the Multiverse from disappearing entirely, and say goodbye.

Yes, it's going to be that kind of blog post.

After all, even though there's been multiple times a crisis has hit our heroes before, none have been on the scale of what took place between December and January on the CW network.

Crisis on Infinite Earths has come.

Synopsis Saturday: Crisis on Earth-X

"Oh you've GOT to be kidding me."

Hello everyone!

As promised back on Tuesday, here's my contribution to all the different reviews rolling around online about this week's MASSIVE, four-episode cross-over event that the CW gave to the fans with a little help from DC. 

Then again, the mothership, aka Arrow, has probably been aiming for this kind of thing since its premiere six years ago.

Boy, was it action-packed!

Also at times fluffy, adorable, hilarious, OMG-inspiring, and above all uncontrollably fun.

I'm sure this has been said many times before and at different spots, but when it comes to working together and bringing a show-stopper to their audience, the cast and crew of each of the four shows (Arrow, Flash, Legends of Tomorrow and Supergirl) really bring their A-game to make sure no nook and cranny is left unexplored.

Of course only Americans would come up with the idea of Nazis for enemies #1, but oh well.

Crisis on Earth-X, here we go!

Talkie Tuesday: TMNT Out of the Shadows

Hello everyone!

Right about now, the upper part of the house is in complete shambles because my parents are renovating the master bedroom. At this moment alone, about a third of it is currently sitting in MY room (including but not limited to a funny winter hat that's eyeing me while I sleep) and I thank every deity above that I have my desk in the opposite corner by the window, otherwise I would so not be able to get to it.

But enough about my habitat woes.

Tuesdays are my movie days, but truth be told I've been a little bit on the slide when it comes to movies, mostly because for some reason our TV network decided that it's going to stream a whole boat load of amazing ones from years past.

This means that, around Saturday-ish when I usually watch a movie to review in my Tuesday blog, I watch stuff like Kingdom of Heaven or Pirates of the Caribbean.

I mean, I'm not complaining! I just have a hard time deciding what, specifically, I'm going to type about, then.

Which is how I got distracted by the last Power Rangers trailer, and remembered my old, old friends: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Out of the Shadows!

Talkie Tuesday: When Calls the Heart

Hello everyone!

Back to series this week, and I think I'm going to be doing a lot of those as the show seasons race towards their final episodes; I may actually dedicate a whole week-blog session to the finales to the series I watch, but I'm still debating on that. What do you think? In any event, this show season has seen some others come and go with being shorter in production sense (only eight or ten episodes, which is definitely a far cry from the usual twenty-two or twenty-three episode orders the shows normally get), but the one that premiered this Sunday on Hallmark channel has come close to my heart during its first season last year when I accidentally stumbled upon it: When Call the Heart. 

Now, you may remember a blog post I did way back when I first started this, and I talked about a book series of the same name, written by author Janette Oke. I liked the books and was quite happy to hear they were developing a TV series, especially since Hallmark had already produced the movies of Love Comes Softly and other titles of the same sequence, which they did beautifully (I do admire Hallmark for the family-oriented productions). I was confused with the season one premiere episode, however, since it was heavily based on the first novel, but didn't give us much of a conclusion (or Stephen Amell in a Mountie uniform, dang it!). The continuation, however, was worth the watch.

Talkie Tuesday: The Originals

Hello everyone!

So I'm cheating a bit today; my last few days have been spent running around or driving people and such, so watching movies wasn't exactly doable, but I did manage to catch The Originals this week on its actual date and not, like, five days after. In some ways, TV shows are so much more fun than movies because they have a continuity going on and last longer in a sense, but then again, a movie will always be a movie ... still, I believe I couldn't have picked a better show to talk about in this blog post. Unless it would have been Game of Thrones, but since the premiere of that is still months away ... let's just focus on the best, dysfunctional TV family that's graced our TV screens for the last couple of years, shall we?
