Booktober 2020

Hello everyone!

Just like last year I'll be bringing you something different this October.

Well, different in the sense that it won't just be the two or three blog posts per week which I would normally do on a regular basis.

Booktober is back!

Every day from tomorrow on I'll be posting a blurb about a book I've read on this blog (and on my Instagram account), all the way through to the end of the month. That'll give you 30+ books to check out if you haven't already.

So on with the show, and happy Booktober!

Booktober Finale

ALRIGHT.

We made it! 31 days, 31 (and more) books, and Booktober is officially over for this year. I really enjoyed it, I thought it would be a kind of different take on the month and doing something new on the blog, so I may bring it back next year, but we'll see what happens honestly. It was definitely a nice break from the usual two massive blog posts per week, but I also kind of miss those, so I'll be happy to get back to them haha.

Happy All Saint's Day if you observe it wherever you are, and I'll see you all in my next blog post!

Booktober!

Hello everyone!

A slightly different post from me, and on an entirely different day.

I know, I'm really going for it, huh?

What I want to say is this: it's October. And this means BOOKTOBER.

Now hold up. There are many, many definitions out there on the world wide web about just what this is supposed to be. I've found a couple; in one, you have to read one book per day in October. In another, it's a month-long read-along in groups, and other cultural activities geared towards reading that bring the community together.

See what I mean?

Mostly it has to do with books, however.

So I'm doing Booktober, too!

What's it going to look like?

Every day, I'll be posting a book I've read onto my blog with a little blurb or a quote or something from the book itself to go with it. This means that by the end of the month, you'll have 31 (potentially 31+) books to check out if you haven't already read them!

Cool, huh?

Get your broomstick and tag along for the ride, then, and I can promise you heaps of interesting titles to sink your teeth into.

Happy Booktober!

xx
