Tome Thursday: The Werewolf's Virgin Vampire

Hello everyone!

So last week I somehow forgot that I had a trilogy of books to finish off with the last one.

I'm not exactly sure how it happened, other than I think I was just so into Term Limits that I really WANTED to review it on here, but I'm back to my usual routine and I do actually have quite a few other books I want to talk about on here, and plans for how to continue through summer (and what to read, most importantly!).

When you read as much as I do and as many eclectic choices as I do (let's be real, there's nothing quite regular when you bounce from crime to romance to psychological thriller to comedy) you need to have some sort of plan, eventually.

I've been flying by the seat of my pants for a while but I'm probably going to actually concentrate now, especially with the summer vacation that's coming up!

But before I do any of that, it's time to do a little bit of a review on here and wrap up this trilogy with a nice bow and a smile.

Riley Rivers has a thing when it comes to supernatural, and The Werewolf's Virgin Vampire was no exception.

Talkie Tuesda: Avengers Infinity War

"We're in the endgame now ..."

Hello everyone!

Back with a movie blog and believe it or not I'm typing this one up at 6 am.

Why?

Because summer, that's why.

Summer has FINALLY hit the country but that means that temperatures are all over the place, aka super high and then some, which also means I either have to turn the AC on if I don't want to melt, or I simply don't go on the computer except early in the morning and then after the sun dips again late afternoon.

Unless something happens that ABSOLUTELY needs my presence online, I think I'll stick with not going online at all.

That being said, it IS time for a movie review, and why not continue along in the Marvel vein?

Heard about a Gauntlet running around? Let's look at Infinity War and see how the Avengers do.

Tome Thursday: Term Limits

Hello everyone!

Summer is FINALLY here!

It's slated to get even hotter here than it is right now, and let me tell you, as much as this means a little bit of ingenuity with regards to being on the computer in a room that resembles a sauna without AC running, it's high time. We've had a rough going of it in May when we'd normally already be jamming in our daisy dukes, but May went on holiday and stuck us with a prolonged April instead.

So now, with June in the picture, it's FINALLY WARM.

I had such a fun time the other day when I went into town (on foot) and ended up perspiring because it was hot, and not because I was wearing too many layers to battle the cold outside and then melting once I got into an over-warm shop.

With high temperatures also come high stakes, at least in books if nothing else, and tonight is definitely no exception, but rather the norm for this rule!

Vince Flynn is probably one of my all-time favourite suspense authors, and I really need to sit down and read through his entire Mitch Rapp book series. But since I'm probably going to leave that one for the summer holidays, I picked something else for tonight.

A stand-alone of his, called Term Limits.

Talkie Tuesday: Captain Marvel

"Highter, further, faster, baby."

Hello everyone!

Back with a movie review after sort of cheating last week with the television show Blood & Treasure (which, by the way, airs a new episode tonight, so make sure you tune in!). And this time it's an ACTUAL movie review.

As in, I'm going back to my roots.

As in, I'm going back to Marvel.

For those of you who don't yet know, I'm an avid Marvel fan; I started watching the so-called Infinity Saga waaay back sometime in Phase one (not quite in the beginning, but I think I started with Thor or Hulk (might have been the one with Eric Bana) and worked my way up) and haven't looked back since.

I've loved most of the movies in the saga, with only rare exceptions, and I'm STOKED to see what follows after Endgame!

No, I haven't seen Endgame yet. I had three consecutive Marvel movie nights and needed a minor break.

Tonight's blog post is all about Captain Marvel.
