Talkie Tuesday: The Next 365 Days

"Sometimes, the truth is complicated."

Hello everyone!

Urgh.

I kept putting this off as long as I possibly could, but when an April Fool's reminded me that there COULD be a part four, I figured I couldn't really keep away for much longer.

Then again I STILL haven't seen Episode IX so I'm really, really good at not watching things I don't want to.

This one was a so-so for me, because while I did in fact want to see the trainwreck, I knew it was going to be one and didn't think I needed it on a good weekend.

But I had some spare time this past weekend and decided, you know what? I can probably do this.

I barely could.

However I'm now all caught up which DOES say something about tenacity (or plain-ass pig-headedness) I suppose.

Because I survived The Next 365 Days. And I swear, these keep getting worse.

Talkie Tuesday: Our Italian Christmas Memories

"Family's where you act the worst, but are loved the best."

Hello everyone!

And here we are, we made it!

The last movie review of 2022, ladies and gentlemen, and although I wish I would have picked something a little more my speed in terms of how much I enjoyed it, this one still nails a couple of points along the way.

I knew it was going to be like this, however.

The first two movies of the review-show were much too good to be true, so naturally the follow-up was NEVER going to live up to the hype!

Ah well.

You win some, you lose some, right?

So without further ado, let's jump right into the holiday search for a delicious Italian sugo, as well as some common family decency, with Our Italian Christmas Memories.

Talkie Tuesday: Love on the Menu

"Love is the number one ingredient in any dish."

Hello everyone!

You're probably wondering if I'll ever watch anything not Hallmark-related in the near future.

I promise, I do have some other movies lined up! But the thing is, Hallmark has somehow reorganised their channel so that they literally have something for every season at this point, and out of those, I generally watch about half their movies. Not always and definitely not all of them, but certainly a lot!

Still, this blog post is a last huzzah, in a way, for movies for the next little while.

Because starting next Tuesday, April 16th, I'll be doing weekly Game of Thrones reviews, for the very last time.

That's right, the final season is almost here, guys!!!

So before we strap on our swords and grab the dragonglass we need to fight off the White Walkers and the Night King, let's try something tasty on for size first as a sort of goodbye, shall we?

Love on the Menu is exactly right for that.
