Tome Thursday: Percy Jackson's Greek Gods

Hello everyone!

Boy, what a week!

First off, that cross-over event - Crisis on Earth-X was absolutely spectacularly AMAZING over Monday and Tuesday (or, in my case, with a bit of a delay, on Tuesday and Wednesday). My reveiw of this will be coming on Saturday since I bumped the Talkie Tuesday for just this purpose. After the fun with the Dominators last year (which I was reminded of, very kindly, by my Facebook memories) this year was off-the-charts insane, in all good ways!

But back to books.

I've seriously been reading like some sort of machine on this end, moving through reading slumps like a pro by picking up oldies-goldies, and then of course there was the massive autumn Book Depository order I placed not too long ago.

Once it arrived, can we say happy camper?

Among those books I ordered was the one I'm reviewing tonight: Percy Jackson's Greek Gods.

Tome Thursday: See Me

Hello everyone!

Back with a book blog this week, as per usual on Thursdays, and of course, like it happens every once in a while for me, I deviate towards Nicholas Sparks.

Yes, yes, I know.

Why would I do something like that to myself, you ask?

Well, alright, here's the thing: I don't know.

I just generally feel as if my reading experience needs to be completed by reading Sparks novels, although I will admit that I'm not the biggest fan of his newest works, honestly.

I kind of much prefer the books he wrote while he was still married, but considering he had to go through a divorce, I figure I'll cut the guy some slack - but that being said, however, I can still admit to not liking some of his books.

See Me, unfortunately, fell under that category.

Saturday Snippet (1)

Happy Saturday everyone!

I'm currently in the process of catching up with TV shows that I just didn't have the time for during regular show seasons (and let's be honest, watching these can be a full-time occupation!) and I figured I might as well start this new category off with a bang.

I'm starting Game of Thrones season 5 (two episodes in) and I remembered this beautiful thing I think I found somewhere on Tumblr or Facebook ... in any event, it ISN'T mine, and I'm only sharing!

THE KING IN THE NORTH!
