Tome Thursday: Breed for the Beast

Hello everyone!

Hear me out.

Before you roll your eyes, scoff, and close the window down because of just what the title of this book is, let me try and sell it to you first.

I promise, it's actually a hell of a lot better than what it sounds.

It does, of course, also have them sexy, smutty scenes, and there's a list of kinks and warnings right at the beginning of it, HOWEVER.

Like I mentioned previously, but going through these Irish mafia books, the plot keeps thickening and actually gaining momentum more than the characters having sex does.

I'd never have believed it if I didn't read it for myself, and the only reason I actually kept reading was because there keeps being more plot padding added to the stories.

This one's got the best of all so far, actually.

So why don't you stick along for the ride with Breed for the Beast?

Tome Thursday: Dinner with Daddy

Hello everyone!

Listen, every once in a while, I go off the rails, okay.

I read so many books that cover so many different topics, so many genres (not counting horror because that's the ONE thing I don't usually touch), that it's almost overwhelming sometimes.

Which is why I'll be looking for a reading cleanser, so to speak, and land on something like this.

It's not exactly what's the usual cup of tea on the blog, I'll give you that.

It is, however, wildly entertaining.

And to be perfectly honest it somehow manages to keep getting more plot-heavy with every single book that you read in this weird series?

I'm not entirely sure how it happened, but here we are.

We're about to head right back into the hands of the Irish mafia, and we'll be having Dinner with Daddy.

Tome Thursday: Dance for Daddy

Hello everyone!

Something a little less conventional from me tonight.

Or, unconventional, rather.

Then again I kind of ran across this author completely by accident, I think. I don't even fully memorize how or when I pick something up in terms of books, so this one either got me through Instagram, a recommendation, or someone on Goodreads reading it from my friends and me thinking, why not.

See, every once in a while, I pick a book up that's more smut than plot.

I call it a brain reset.

It doesn't require more from me than sitting there leafing through it, and the plot, however little of it there is, is brief enough that it doesn't make me bend over backwards to understand anything.

That's exactly what happened with tonight's book of choice.

Without further ado: Dance for Daddy.
