Tome Thursday: Branded in Love

Hello everyone!

And welcome to tonight's book of choice.

Which, I'll admit, I honestly thought I had already reviewed, but APPARENTLY, for some reason, I skipped over it?

I don't know why. Don't even start asking questions, because I probably won't be able to answer them LOL

In any event, I found out at the perfect time to be able to have a look at the book, which just so happens to be the first in a series, or at least the first in a spin-off series, because apparently, there's a heck of a lot more of them.

I also inconveniently managed to start with, like, the fourth one? Instead of the actual first? So of course I had about zero clue when I read that, and now reading this one I'm confused with some of the characterizations haha.

Still, it's an entertaining world to be in, so why don't we head on for the quick ride that's going to be Branded in Love?

Tome Thursday: Runt of the Pack

Hello everyone!

And this week, I welcome you to something slightly different in terms of books, at least for me, since I usually DON'T read these.

But when BookSirens suggests something, who am I to disagree with it?

Especially as it hasn't steered me wrong yet!

Thus far, I think I've thoroughly enjoyed every single book I've picked up, or maybe there were a few that slipped through the cracks of enjoyment, but, overall I'd say the success rate has been pretty high here.

So when I grabbed this one, I wasn't overly worried, although I WAS thinking it would maybe be a little bit longer even.

No matter.

Because the fate of a pack is in our hands. As depicted in Runt of the Pack.

Tome Thursday: Red and Her Wolf

Hello everyone!

This week's book choice once again comes from BookSirens, which, is there any surprise there?

When you can pick up so many really great books for free - the only price being getting a review up - there really isn't much competition or to think about.

The service has definitely helped me discover some really cool books and authors since I joined, so I encourage you to give it a try. It's really good!

But back to the show.

This week we're weaving through the realm of paranormal or supernatural again, but this time there's also the element of a fairy tale retelling.

There really isn't all that much more to say about it other than to simply dive right in, otherwise what good is an intro, right?

Tome Thursday: A Queen's Pride

Hello everyone!

I come to you with an offering.

And a FANTASTIC one at that!

As you all know by now, or if you don't you're about to, I'm a member of a site called BookSirens, where you can get a lot of ARCs for free, the only stipulation being there are some time crunches to when you have to finish reading them.

Don't worry though, most of them are around the three month mark.

So because of this, I often get emails telling me about all the new ARCs or books that would generally fit the genre I prefer reading, and a little bit ago I opened said email up to find one that REALLY captured my interest.

It may have taken me just a little to get started, but once I did, hooooo boy!

I gobbled this up in mostly one sitting. I think I only left a very small portion of the book for another day, so that makes it two days, a whole lot of enjoyment, and excitement for the second book.

I'm talking about A Queen's Pride written by best-selling author N.D. Jones.

Tome Thursday: Wild Heart

Hello everyone!

It's time for yet another book review and, yes, you guessed it, I turned to my usual go-to for whenever I feel as though I need a good, solid romance story with a happily ever after that doesn't come at the price of me tearing my hair out at either the hero or heroine being completely ridiculous by not just TALKING things through.

I mean, what's the price of talk nowadays? Millions of dollars?

You'd think so by how certain authors will add unnecessary complications into a fictional relationship simply for the sake of a complication itself.

Anyway.

Serenity Woods does NOT do that, I'm happy to report, although I do have to admit I ran into one of her books that didn't quite mesh up with what I'd been expecting ... but it's not tonight's subject, I promise.

No, no, tonight's subject is one of those I actually devoured fairly easily.

It's titled Wild Heart.
