Talkie Tuesday: Chhaava

"Whenever terror and cruelty rise on Earth,

a great soul is born to protect it."

Hello everyone!

I owe you an apology first.

Unfortunately, working the job I do, sometimes my shifts are a little bit on the crazy side, and my sleep schedule suffers as a result.

That's not to say I physically CAN'T sit down and write, the problem is that my only writing times are either right before bed, or if I get up early enough so that I can whip something together and then post it.

And a lot of the time, I kinda need to not be sleep deprived since I deal with money at work LOL.

So last week was a bad bust on that account, and HOPEFULLY this week doesn't turn into the same chaotic mess!

That out of the way, I can now confidently sail into this week's blog post.

Without further ado, we're heading right back into Bollywood, because of course we are, and having a gander at the historic epic, Chhaava.

Talkie Tuesday: Pursuit of Jade

"Be a good pig in this life; be a good man in the next."

Hello everyone!

Welcome back.

Sorry for a bit of delay on Tuesday's reviews, I took last week off because there were other things happening (as said before, it was a special day!) and now I return with a MAMMOTH of a thing.

There's no way it's not going to be.

Not with the show being 40 episodes long, and each episode covering so much ground it sometimes feels like they're trying to shove a book into 40 minutes, each.

And in all honesty I fell into the hole completely by accident!

Netflix kept shoving the promo for it right on the front page. Eventually, I decided you know what? FINE, I'll watch.

I've since already breezed through twice. And the rest, as they say, is history.

So let's take a look at it together in Pursuit of Jade!

Talkie Tuesday: Padmaavat

"War in the name of beauty."

Hello everyone!

Back to Bollywood tonight.

Honestly, I'm pretty pleased with myself.

A while ago I made a list of movies I really want to watch, and I've so far managed to trim it down to only a few left!

Of course I also keep adding new ones as Netflix adds them to their movie library, but that's obviously a problem for another day LOL.

Still, when the streamer gave me advance warning that THIS particular movie was about to launch on their service, I was stoked.

It was definitely on my list! And now I could watch it with subtitles and not have to worry about sync and whatnot.

So hold on to all you hold dear, lest someone take it: it's time to head back to historical India in tonight's epic, Padmaavat.
