Tome Thursday: Beauty and the Billionaire Boss

Hello everyone!

As always happens, we return to one of my favourite authors of all time, if not THE favourite, at least in the contemporary romance genre.

Because if it isn't broke, why fix it, right?

Ha!

I tend to truly enjoy reading about good men who have a lot of money but don't turn into assholes about it. When all is said and done, I firmly believe that there's plenty more of those in the world than there are idiots, we just hear about the idiots more often because, well, idioting.

And Serenity Woods likes to even the odds for the good guys by keeping on writing so many good books!

The Boss in a Billion series has been steadily growing and will continue to do so with a third trilogy set in another, different city of New Zealand, so I'm stoked.

Then again, I always am.

Without more blathering from me, let's have a quick look at Beauty and the Billionaire Boss, shall we?

Tome Thursday: The Valentine Billionaire

Hello everyone!

It's that time again, when another Serenity Woods book is about to hit the market, or the mass market paperback has already been released, but the rest is waiting for another week or so (or in this case, about ten days).

And we love every moment of it!

Ms Woods returns to her Billionaire Princes series with her next installment, and there's only one more left after this, so buckle up and let's see where it all takes us, shall we?

Because once we've finished with this particular series of books it's on to some other heroes that will undoubtedly catch our mind and our hearts just as much as every other of the ones Ms Woods writes does.

I'm honestly really looking forward to it.

Before we can do anything, however, we do need to check in with the Princes and their up-and-coming CEO, Lucas who, if you remember, is a bit of a geek, or so he claims for himself. Whether or not he truly is remains to be seen.

We'll probably have some answer through The Valentine Billionaire, at that!

Tome Thursday: White-Hot Christmas

Hello everyone!

Happy New Year!

Hopefully you're recovered, or more or less recovered, now that it's January 2nd, but if not, well, then you really had a lot of fun partying.

Which I think is fitting, given that this is the start of a beautiful new decade!

I have a few plans for this blog as well as for some other things, but first off, I have a straggler (or two) from my Christmas book list that never made it into the December shelves because you can only fit four into the month.

And I know, I know - I promised I'd be reading other things soon. And I will!

But these stragglers are just begging to be talked about, so why not give them a shot, and then move on to different, maybe greener pastures given the weather is hopefully going to start warming up again soon?

Luckily for us, the first book is less chilly than it is hot. White-Hot Christmas even sounds hotter than the average one!

Tome Thursday: If Kisses Were Snowflakes

Hello everyone!

Today has been a rather busy day for me, but that said, I've been looking forward to sitting down and typing up this blog post, because it features one of my favourite books.

I think you may be sensing a trend here.

I don't believe I've ever run into more than one or two books written by Serenity Woods that I didn't like - and even then, it wasn't that I really didn't like them, I just didn't connect well enough with a character so I felt out of whack with the entire thing, and therefore missed the experience.

But ALL of her books are guaranteed to make you smile. Scout's honour!

I've been on a Woods reading binge ever since December began, going through her Three Wise Men series (I still have to read Matt's book one more time) and generally just picking up her Christmas-y titles.

This one is DEFINITELY one of those, because believe it or not, it's part of her Christmas Wishes book series, a set of standalone books that are all set in Christmas time.

As they say, If Kisses Were Snowflakes - I'd send you a snowstorm.
