Tome Thursday: Juliette and the Billionaire Boss

Hello everyone!

Apologies for missing Tuesday's post, but, unfortunately life just hasn't been cooperating this week. I'm sort of back in the groove of things now (I hope!) and I'm aiming to bring you a pretty neat beast come next Talkie Tuesday, so fingers crossed for that.

In the meantime, let's have a look at another book.

As we usually do, of course.

And this week is a pretty huge deal BECAUSE, it's the end of a long-running series, called A Boss in a Billion, by Serenity Woods.

This trilogy's titled The Christchurch Billionaires, and man oh man have they been amazing to read.

Now with Henry and Juliette's story, it all comes to an end, in the best way possible of course.

There isn't any other way when Ms Woods is the one writing these books!

So let's look at Juliette and the Billionaire Boss, then.

Tome Thursday: Aroha and the Billionaire Boss

Hello everyone!

And welcome to the newest addition on the shelves of Serenity Woods, because OF COURSE there's going to be a new book releasing soon, am I right?

Now, realistically, this one doesn't hit the shelves for another week or so BUT.

But.

I was super duper lucky to be sent an ARC of it - I'm a part of Ms Woods' ARC readers' group, and I still have no idea just HOW I got this lucky, because she's my absolute favourite contemporary romance author - so I got early access.

And man oh man, am I telling you that you NEED to read it.

I know I'm putting up a lot of captions and whatnot in this intro, but it's all for a good cause, I promise you this.

Because these billionaires ... they literally take your breath away.

Aroha and the Billionaire Boss is no different, either.

Tome Thursday: Mistletoe and the Billionaire Boss

Hello everyone!

And welcome to a very fantastic opening into our Christmas book reading extravaganza.

We already had a heap of luck with our movie choice this week (have you seen My Norwegian Holiday yet?), and now our streak continues with the book I've chosen.

Or, well, had chosen for me! LOL.

See, when you open up your mailbox during a routine daily check, and see an email from your favourite contemporary romance author saying that the ARC for her next book in a series you adore is ready for you to read ...

You drop everything - and I mean literally everything - and set aside a time to gobble it up!

It took me a little longer than normal to finish this because work is turning into insanity as we head further into December, but, I thoroughly enjoyed every single moment.

So buckle up, we're heading back to New Zealand with Serenity Woods' latest installment in her Boss in a Billion series, Mistletoe and the Billionaire Boss.

Tome Thursday: Alice and the Billionaire Boss

Hello everyone!

Tonight's blog will be a much briefer over-view of a book than I would usually do because I ran out of time.

This bakery job thing is ferocious, I tell you, and I'm already dreading the 30th because the two days afterwards are holidays when we're closed - people will go NUTS, I'm sure.

Anyway!

Last week I realized I completely failed and didn't review a book by Serenity Woods.

Turns out, I didn't do it because my computer was out of commission at the time, so here I am now.

Because one can never have too many billionaires in their life.

Another one, and one of my personal favourites, really, is a feature in this particular literary work of art, and his name is Kip.

Tome Thursday: Beauty and the Billionaire Boss

Hello everyone!

As always happens, we return to one of my favourite authors of all time, if not THE favourite, at least in the contemporary romance genre.

Because if it isn't broke, why fix it, right?

Ha!

I tend to truly enjoy reading about good men who have a lot of money but don't turn into assholes about it. When all is said and done, I firmly believe that there's plenty more of those in the world than there are idiots, we just hear about the idiots more often because, well, idioting.

And Serenity Woods likes to even the odds for the good guys by keeping on writing so many good books!

The Boss in a Billion series has been steadily growing and will continue to do so with a third trilogy set in another, different city of New Zealand, so I'm stoked.

Then again, I always am.

Without more blathering from me, let's have a quick look at Beauty and the Billionaire Boss, shall we?

Tome Thursday: Cinderella and the Billionaire Boss

Hello everyone!

And I hope you're ready for another lovely adventure by Serenity Woods.

Yes, yes we are indeed back to reading one of her novels, and one has to point out these really are NOVELS, in that they're the longest books she's written to date.

I love it!

Sooo much haha, it's just the most amazing thing in the world because the more substance any book has, the more enjoyable it is to read as far as I'm concerned. So when all is said and done, that's the thing that gets me the most.

Yes, I see you, the rest of Outlander. I see you. But you're just going to have to wait a second.

For right now, I'm stuck in the contemporary world with contemporary billionaires who just so happen to be absolutely amazing.

Without further ado let's get into it, shall we?

Cinderella and the Billionaire Boss starts the Wellington Billionaires trilogy, continuing the Boss in a Billion series!

Tome Thursday: Faking Love with the Billionaire Boss

Hello everyone!

I hope you'll be just as excited about this week's book selection as I am, because I've read it twice by now and I cannot WAIT to get it in paperback edition.

I'm circling back to my one true love, books written by Serenity Woods, as you can imagine.

The great thing about finding an author who you genuinely enjoy as much as I enjoy reading Ms Woods' books is that, if you're extremely lucky, they may be writing and writing and writing, and you know you have SO many more books to look forward to in future!

Take this one, for example.

It wraps up a tentative trilogy - though I don't think it was initially planned that way - while also introducing us to the hero of the NEXT trilogy starter, all in one go.

Not to mention it features all of our favourites from the first two books as well as my absolute favourite characters of them all, really.

So enough about me just chattering about this, and let's just get on with it, shall we? Our choice tonight is Faking Love with the Billionaire Boss.

Tome Thursday: One Night with the Billionaire Boss

Hello everyone!

And welcome back to another book review.

Tonight we return to my favourite contemporary romance novelist, Serenity Woods, because unless you haven't been paying attention, I tend to always have a book or two of hers on the list of current blog posts no matter what time of year it is.

Ms Woods didn't disappoint during this time either, and just this past weekend is when her latest work was released.

So if you haven't yet taken a closer look, what ARE you waiting for?

Gorgeous, kind-hearted and compassionate men find the women of their dreams in these romance novels, but for the most part they do it without what I like to call the unnecessary "Hallmark effect" manufactured crisis.

I kinda sorta didn't like THIS particular release as much as I usually enjoy them, but that's beside the point, because for the most part this is a GREAT book.

I'll explain my disagreements with it at the end of the post.

But first I need to tell you about One Night with the Billionaire Boss.

Tome Thursday: Talking Dirty with the Billionaire Boss

Hello everyone!

And welcome.

Welcome to the next few weeks of Christmas-only themed blog posts, as we make our way through the magical month of December.

Yes, I say magical, because it IS magical, for me at least.

It isn't about the gifts and about the rush and the full stores and everybody being anxious, but it IS about spending time together with your family and loved ones, decorating, baking delicious goodies, drinking those warm beverages that always make you happy, etc.

For me, it's a time when my family tends to go a little bit overboard with the decorating (Chevy Chase comes to mind ...), but it's also sort of a time to unwind a little.

I get to spend it with the people that are nearest and dearest to my heart, and to top it all off I usually get to laugh so much it makes everything else worth it.

So without further ado, let's start with - you guessed it - my favourite contemporary romance author, Serenity Woods. Talking Dirty with the Billionaire Boss kind of came as a surprise, but it is an AWESOME read just the same.
