Talkie Tuesday: Underworld Blood Wars

Hello everyone!

So, alright. I kind of messed up with the whole 'I'm going to switch my Tuesday and Saturday posts' last week. 

I'll admit, it completely slipped my mind and also, with the rain we've been having (nothing even remotely close to Irma or what's happening to our neighbours in Croatia, however) it's been kind of difficult to focus on anything specific, outside of just slowly regrouping and gathering all the things I may need in the coming weeks.

Anyway, I'm back with a proper movie review this week, and I've chosen one of the older ones for the time being (or well, semi-old really) as opposed to the newer I'd watched while away at the seaside. I'll do one of those next week though!

Moving to the actual theme of this week, I picked Underworld: Blood Wars because I have an affinity for these vampire movies, mostly because I thoroughly enjoyed the first, humoured the second, loved the prequel, and had a love-hate relationship with the Awakening one.

I put all that aside for Blood Wars, however, because THIS was a proper Underworld movie.

Talkie Tuesday: Me Before You

Hello everyone!

This is me touching base with my last movie review for the foreseeable future this week, as next week begins the marathon that is Game of Thrones! 

That's right, the new season premieres this coming Sunday so you can definitely expect blog posts related to the relevant episodes every Tuesday until after the season end, at which point I'll go back to movies and the usual reviews.

For today, however, what I'm going to talk about is a movie most of you have probably already seen, or you've read the book, or maybe you're like me and are super late to this train.

I'm talking about Me Before You.

Which, admittedly, had its hype a while ago really, but for some reason I never did get to it, or into it, before heading to the coast for a mini vacation this last time.

Talkie Tuesday: Pride and Prejudice and Zombies

Hello everyone!

This blog post is LONG overdue. 

And I mean, extremely overdue.

The thing is, sometimes when I'm typing things up and posting them on here, what happens is that I want to get the most obvious (and usually the most novel at the time) choices out into the open, which doesn't include some of those that are left in my little notebook.

So, accordingly, I reach some much longer after I should have, I suppose.

That being said, it really is a shame that I've only just gotten to this particular movie as I can well remember LOVING it when I saw it. I was hugely skeptical for a majority of reasons (all of which have to do with how the production houses handle the undead nowadays) but insanely glad when I got over that and made myself sit down, and watch it.

I'm talking about Pride and Prejudice and Zombies, of course.

Talkie Tuesday: Dracula Untold

Hello everyone!

I'm back with another movie blog, although my backlog of movies that I have yet to see hasn't gotten any shorter yet, despite all my attempts to do so. 

I just keep getting distracted!

Whether it's because of Dancing with the Stars or because Outlander has just premiered again (season two, woohoo!), I almost never have time to actually watch a movie for two hours straight unless something drastic happens. This is one of the many reasons why I'm usually pretty content once shows end for the summer break between seasons, because at least then I can pick up the slack and watch everything I missed out on during the rest of the year.

But the movie I'll be talking about tonight is actually one that I really, truly should have seen at least a year ago, and never got to it. I finally managed to do so though and I can honestly say that I enjoyed it, regardless of a lot of negative criticism that's rolling around the world wide web.

I'm talking about Dracula Untold.
