Talkie Tuesday: Magic Mike's Last Dance

"Dance seeks no meaning for its desires.

Hello everyone!

So in case it isn't obvious yet, or has not yet become obvious, I'm a bit of a softie.

Aka, you can probably get me to do just about anything you might want IF you're close enough to me and we're good enough friends for you to try it on for size.

This past end of the week, one of my best friends messaged me about going to the cinema.

Now, ordinarily, I'm all for it, and it's never an issue. However, I've been in this situation before and ended up going to see the first 50 Shades of Grey movie.

I kind of figured it had to be something along those same lines, and I was partly right.

Seeing as I do consider myself a good friend, however, and because I really did need to get out of the house (my sister was home to babysit the parents, as I like to call it, though really all they did was watch a movie themselves), I agreed to go. And it wasn't bad!

I do have thoughts, but it wasn't too bad. I was taken to see Magic Mike's Last Dance; and if you know me, then you know that I don't usually watch movies like this.

Talkie Tuesday: Smallfoot

"Smallfoot exists, suckas!"

Hello everyone!

After being thoroughly amused by watching The Rock serenade as Maui and his 'You're Welcome' song from Moana, I felt the need to go and watch another cartoon-style movie instead of an action flick or anything of the sort.

I'd heard about tonight's blog post theme before but never got to it.

Why?

Well, I kind of have to be in the mood, I suppose.

And then of course, I keep getting distracted during the week by the Turkish soap opera I watch, Siyah Beyaz Ask.

I know. First world problems!

But anyway.

Without further ado, let's put our warmest winter jackets on, because we're going up high in the mountains. We'll try to locate Smallfoot!

Talkie Tuesday: Jupiter Ascending

"I am NOT your mother."

Hello everyone!

I'm once again back with a movie review from my time spent at the seaside, so it's absolutely been a couple of months since I've seen this, but luckily, I have my trusty little notebook with its productive sheep on the front cover to keep me appraised of everything I thought about then!

Or well, if not that, then at least I've noted down what, exactly, was going on haha.

To be perfectly honest, when I first saw something for this movie, I wasn't sure I'd see it, because I just didn't think I'd have the time. But the ginormous character posters in our cinema made me at least WANT to do it, so when summer holidays rolled around I figured, why not? I was going for a lot of fantasy and biographic dramas at that time so I thought I needed something else to spice things up for myself, and some science fiction thrown in the mix sounded like just the thing.

If I told you that the movie is about intergalactic travel, planets, and royalty, what would your answer be?

Hopefully not Star Wars.

I'm talking about Jupiter Ascending.
