Tome Thursday: Charlie's Christmas Angels

Hello everyone!

Not sure about you, but I'm kind of blown away by how fast the year's gone by. I mean, only one more day left and we'll be in 2022 already!

Where has the time gone?

To wrap up this blogging year - as the next post falls on New Year's Day - I picked up something extra special.

Well, alright, I was sent something extra special, but I wasn't the only one, because if you're subscribed to Serenity Woods' newsletter, you got a very special short story somewhere mid-December as a Christmas treat.

Yes, I am in fact going back to Ms Woods to wrap this year up nice and tight with a bow on top!

So without further ado, I'm going to stop blathering about unimportant information, and jump right into it.

Because Charlie's Christmas Angels wait for no one!

Tome Thursday: My Christmas Billionaire

Hello everyone!

Time really does fly when you're having fun. It seems like only yesterday that I started reading The Billionaire Kings by Serenity Woods, and yet somehow, we've reached the end.

Of course it may not REALLY be the end, as Ms Woods has indicated there might be a follow-up story, kind of like a wrap-up, to catch up with everyone in the King dynasty.

And it really IS a dynasty by this point, given how many of them there are and how they seem interconnected all over the place.

In the meantime though, we need to review the last of the actual books and love stories, because there's only two people left who remain single after all the others have found their happily ever afters.

What makes this particular book special is the fact that it takes place in Rovaniemi, Finland, which is an actual place up in the Arctic Circle. It's one of my bucket list destinations, because who DOESN'T want to go spy on Santa in his own village??

Ahem.

My Christmas Billionaire does just that.

Tome Thursday: My Wicked Billionaire

Hello everyone!

It's time to go back down under again!

Not exactly Australia of course, since I can't even remember the last time I read a book that happens in Australia (not counting last week's blog post topic).

No, I'm talking about the smaller of the countries down under.

It's time to return to New Zealand.

And of course, what better way to do it than with another Billionaire King?

I have to admit that this is the kind of series I truly enjoy on a whole lot of levels, because it has it all: family, friendships, romance, realism, and on top of everything else it's centered around an animal shelter, which means a lot of cute animals come through the story too!

The stories are slowly being wrapped up into a neat little present to put under our Christmas trees, so let's hop right to it, shall we?

Tome Thursday: My Wounded Billionaire

Hello everyone!

I'm BACK!

Book reviews are a thing again on this blog, though I do hope, as I hoped on Tuesday, that you've enjoyed my Booktober activity which I did last month. That does mean, however, that I'm a little bit behind on my reviews.

And by 'a little behind' I mean 'a lot behind', because I've already got a new ARC waiting for me to read it from this series, yet I haven't managed to get a proper review up for the fifth book!

Shame on me. Shame, shame, shame.

Anyway.

Considering that Serenity Woods is probably my favourite contemporary romance author (at least at the moment, but I don't see it changing any time soon) it should be a surprise to absolutely no one that I'm kicking off book reviews with another one of her books.

This time, we're headed back to the Ark, and to the King family.

Let's take a look at My Wounded Billionaire.

Tome Thursday: My Lonely Billionaire

Hello everyone!

It's here.

FINALLY, it's here!

When I started reading Serenity Woods' new series, The Billionaire Kings, that cover the lives (and love) of the King offspring, the very first thing I said as the key players were introduced was that Noah King deserved his own story.

I can now happily say he absolutely gets it!

I can also say that I've been invited to join the Kiwi Birds, the ARC group who occasionally receive Ms Woods' work in advance to review it, and I couldn't be happier.

I know I owe a trilogy conclusion on this blog, but I also have one more romance book from down under waiting to be discussed on here so I think I'm going to do that next week and then finish off Rick Riordan's short story trilogy after that.

Before I do it, however, it's actually time for Noah's story.

It's time for My Lonely Billionaire.

Tome Thursday: My Roommate, the Billionaire

Hello everyone!

With my return from vacation this also means I have a bunch of new books to review for you guys, and that's probably something I'm more excited about than the movies.

That's not fair to say, but admittedly I've always been much better with the book thing, though this year I'm kind of falling behind in my reading challenge, not something I expected. I'm going to have to kick myself into high gear!

Anyway.

By now, if you've paid attention to this blog at all, you'll know I'm a HUGE fan of Serenity Woods. The accidental download of one of her books has led to a very decent romance with them, considering I devour any and all new works that are published.

I'm also incredibly lucky to have actually communicated with the author, which isn't something that happens every day, but it only makes everything that much better!

So to start us off, I'm reviewing another King boys book. This one's Albie's, and it's called My Roommate, the Billionaire.

Tome Thursday: My Boss, the Billionaire

Hello everyone!

Here I am again with a second consecutive book review by the same author, and honestly I blame myself for loving these books so much.

Why wouldn't I want to share them with you?

Also, I saw two announcements today that both brought tears to my eyes, for different reasons, one being that Arrow will be ending with a 10-episode eighth season, which had me sniffling with sadness, and the other that Becoming the Supervet was published in paperback - a format I prefer - and I could finally grab a copy, which had me shedding some tears of joy!

I've been a fan of Professor Noel Fitzpatrick and his show The Supervet for a long time now, and being able to get just a glimpse of the back story which went on from day one up until today promises to be a magical experience.

But as of right now, I kind of need to get my billionaire shoes on again.

Remember last week, when we met Hal? Well, now it's time to meet Leon.

Ninja Turtles, move aside. My Boss, the Billionaire, is up, graciously given to me as an ARC by the author.

Tome Thursday: My Best Friend, the Billionaire

Hello everyone!

First off, it's almost March. Are you excited?

Strangely enough, even though I normally prefer colder months (for personal reasons), I'm feeling buoyant about the upcoming warmer climate, despite the fact that my sister and I had a conversation just yesterday about the old Hades and Persephone myth, its connection to seasons, and how we only have two prevalent ones left.

Like I told her: apparently, Persephone wants to spend more time with her hubster. Fine by me!

Back to the topic at hand, you can probably see very well which book I'm going to be reviewing tonight. The cover should tell you everything and more.

I was excited about this series from the moment the author announced it, namely because I was first introduced to her books through the prequels documenting the life and love of the fathers who gifted us with offspring that can take over the mantle now.

I'm making very little sense unless you've read the books yourself, but not worry, all shall be revealed!

So sit back and enjoy this tale about another hot Kiwi guy in My Best Friend, the Billionaire.
