Talkie Tuesday: The Apothecary Diaries Pt 2

"Be wary of everyone."

Hello everyone!

Back again with the continuation of previous week's blog post, because in all honesty, you didn't think I'd leave you hanging now, did you?

Of course not.

This particular story is ongoing, and hasn't actually even had all of its storylines adapted yet, not to mention the episodes have yet to all air on Netflix where I watch it, but we DO have the full first segment of it released, and are now eagerly awaiting season two to drop.

So while we're doing that, let's just ... go through what the shenanigans of season one have been so far, shall we?

Because when you've got a eunuch, an apothecary, some concubines, not to mention random people trying to pull off heists of a lifetime, you're bound to be in for a whole lot of fun.

Without further ado, we're diving straight back into The Apothecary Diaries.

Talkie Tuesday: The Apothecary Diaries Pt 1

"Be wary of everyone."

Hello everyone!

Welcome back.

I'm apparently on an anime kick recently, but don't worry, there's going to be something else making its way onto the blog soon enough.

I just have to get through this first haha!

It's what happens when I'm bored and randomly browsing Netflix, allowing the streamer to choose suggestions for me based on what I'd already seen and liked.

And seeing that I rather enjoyed My Happy Marriage, I figured tonight's topic of choice could be something equally nice to watch.

Turns out, it's more than just that - it's full-on entertaining and hilarious, while also weaving a rather complex plot in the background!

So without further ado, strap in, because we're heading back to Imperial Japan with The Apothecary Diaries.

Tome Thursday: A Royal Christmas Princess

Hello everyone!

This will be my last Christmas-related review as we move towards the new year, since afterwards in January I plan to get some other things out from under my belt.

First, however, I should probably see whether or not I can actually get my e-reader working again, but I'm pretty much afraid it's bitten it, kicked the bucket, and everything else that goes along those lines. Which means I may need a new one after almost four years of pretty much constant use, but it's a bummer because it went just before Christmas!

In any event, however, tonight's book has definitely been read before AND technically I could probably read everything on my computer as well, so I sort of refreshed my memory of it.

Of course it's another Christmas romance. Also, it has a kingdom, a would-be prince, and an American along the lines of Mia from Princess Diaries.

Tome Thursday: A Royal Holiday

Hello everyone!

As promised in my previous book blog post from last week, this December I'm going to be doing a series of Christmas-related reviews!

Yeah, 'tis the season, alright!

The link to the previous blog, talking about Darcy Burke's novella Where the Heart Is, can be found at the bottom of this post, but today's post couldn't be more different from the previous one because of the chosen book!

Okay, yes, it's still a novella, but it's also different because it's about a royal family as opposed to the Archers of Ribbon Ridge.

Suffice to say, no holiday could ever be complete without some sort of cheer from one palace or another, whether they be fictional or real life, and to be quite honest I've loved this series for quite some time now so I'm excited to share it with you!

Off we go, then, into the review of Royal of Valleria: A Royal Holiday!
